Tullia Caballero Augi, with her upbringing in the UK and Peru and subsequent move to Italy, has always been at the crossroads of cultures. After graduating as an interpreter and translator, her multilingual skills and a passion for the outdoors led her to a fulfilling career in adventure travel. She honed her expertise at the World Wildlife Fund in Italy, creating wildlife and hiking tours, and later as the Italy product manager for a prominent Dutch adventure company.
In 1999, Tullia founded S-Cape Travel Italy, now a leading name in adventure travel. Renowned for its small group and self-guided tours across Europe, S-Cape Travel is proudly Travelife Certified, underscoring its commitment to sustainable tourism. In 2016, she became a partner and director at SloWays, focusing on long-distance pilgrim and walking trails.
Her entrepreneurial spirit extends to her role as co-founder and vice president of ActiveItaly, an Active and Sustainable Tourism Business Network. This role, coupled with her ambassadorship and training responsibilities at the Adventure Travel Trade Association, cements Tullia’s status as a key influencer in sustainable and active travel.
