For as long as he remembers he has always wanted to work in the tourism industry, being logical choice to study foreign languages at high school and then Economics of Tourism at university.
After his studies he joined BTC International, at the time, the most important Meetings Industry trade show in Italy. A great experience, which gave him the opportunity to get to know the industry from a privileged point of view.
In 2009 he made the life-changing move that brought him away from Florence, his home-city, as he joined the start-up team of the Sicily Convention Bureau, as Sales Manager. Another exciting and inspiring experience. That is where he fell in love with Destination Marketing and most of all, when he identified convention bureaus as his natural environment.
In 2014 the evolution from the regional to the national perspective, led him to the creation of Convention Bureau Italia.
During the following 10 years, under the inspiring guide of Carlotta Ferrari, President of CBItalia, and thanks to an incredible team, he had the possibility and the great honor to lead the exciting growth of the Italian national convention bureau.
