Born in Madrid, he is an Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and holds a Master in National Defense from the Rey Juan Carlos University.
A career official of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce since 1997, he is currently the Tourism Counselor of the Spanish Embassy in Italy and Director of the Spanish Tourism Office in Rome. As such he is responsible for the tourism promotion of Spain in central and southern Italy, and the islands of Sardinia and Sicily , along with the markets of Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, and Egypt.
Between 2008 and 2018 he has had various responsibilities in the Spanish Tourism Administration as Director of the Cabinet of the Secretary of State and senior Advisor in the Cabinet of the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism. He was posted, as Tourism Counselor of the Spanish Embassy in ireland.
