Patrik Romano is the General manager of Bologna Welcome Convention & Visitors Bureau.
He has over 20 years’ experience in marketing, communication and promotion in the meetings sector, in Italy and abroad. As General Manager of Bologna Welcome, since 2013 he has led the development and implementation of the tourism promotion strategy for Bologna and the surrounding metropolitan area, managing the company and all its activities, including the organisation of tourist information offices, communication and business strategies, as well as the implementation of an innovative CRM infrastructure and personalisation of services for the benefit of international and domestic tourists.
The company currently has 63 employees.
The corporate form of Bologna Welcome is currently being transformed into a Foundation, whose field of action will extend to the all-round attractiveness of Bologna.
