Travelling to Change. From Symbolic Places of Negative Events to Destinations of Memory and Marketing with a Social Impact

The transformative journey represents a new meaning for those who undertake it, for those who host and for those who discover the existence of destinations that are making change their added value.

During the first part of this panel, we will take a journey on the discovery of new beauty in places with a complex past and symbols of negative events.

We will discover projects that have contributed to repositioning these territories, making them transformative and interesting destinations for travelers.

In the second part of the panel, we will be addressing the topic from the point of view of communication: How carefully chosen words and new codes can convey transformative and inspirational messages, promoting destinations through territorial marketing which, by sharing messages ‘for social good’, contributes, in addition to the promotion, also to the social impact.
