FIAVET (Italian Federation of Travel and Tourism Business Associations) is the trade association par excellence of Tour Operators and Travel Agencies and more generally of tourism businesses.
It was founded in February 1961 and has therefore been operating for over 60 years: it is therefore by far the most representative and consolidated reality in the Italian tourism distribution and production sector. It adheres to the Confcommercio system and together with the other trade associations (Fipe, Federalberghi, Faita and Rescasa) is a founding member of Confturismo.
At an international level, FIAVET is a founding member of the European association ECTAA. FIAVET Toscana aims to bring together and represent economic operators of travel and tourism carrying out professional activities within the Tuscany region and to protect their moral and material interests in all fields.
