Annalia Bassi was born in 1989 in Padua. After graduating in Economics in Venice and earning a master’s degree in Tourism Economics at the Bocconi University in Milan, she began her career with an internship at FinnAir and then she moved to the Trivago head office in Germany, where she was responsible for managing relations with hoteliers.
After her German experience, she returned to Italy, again in Milan, where she worked in the sales department of MailUp before joining the a&o Hotels and Hostels family in 2018.
Her initial role at a&o Hostels was Sales Manager for Italy, while since August 2022 she has been Head of International Sales and coordinates a team of 8 people spread over 7 countries.
