At a time when we continue to witness environmentally disastrous events, it has become imperative that all of us, from public to private to individual citizens, make a commitment to a more sustainable world.

The tourism sector, with an estimated more than 960 million travelers worldwide in 2022 according to the World Tourism Organisation, has a major impact on the planet and can certainly contribute, through bodies promoting appropriate strategies, actions and marketing, to mitigating the negative impact by fostering the spread of more responsible behaviour among travelers and policymakers worldwide.
